  • Stephen Connor Skills Coach

    Stephen Connor was born in Carrollton, Texas. Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete excelling in football (soccer), baseball, and basketball. At the high school level, he chose to pursue academics before ultimately returning to the game once he attended the University of Missouri.

     

    While at the University of Missouri pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, Stephen was an assistant coach with the Women’s Club Basketball team and participated in research regarding mechanical fatigue failure and science of athleticism as it relates to basketball athletes.

     

    After graduating from MU with his degree in mechanical engineering, Stephen joined the American Society of Biomechanics and is currently working on becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with NSCA to settle into a career as a biomechanist. As a biomechanist, he plans to use sports science and engineering applications with a focus on training and biomechanical assessments of athletes of all ages.
